Hey, we're Ryan & Jem — glad you found us.
If you're new here, this is the best place to start. We're an international couple based in Spokane, Washington — Ryan is a Inland Northwest native and Jem moved here from the Philippines in May 2025. We document our life together honestly, including the travel, the food, and everything in between.
Who we are
Ryan grew up in the Inland Northwest with mountains, open roads, and wide skies as his backyard. Jem grew up in the Philippines where food is everything, hospitality runs deep, and family always shows up. On May 14th, 2025 Jem landed in the US as a permanent resident and the adventure of building a new life together began.
Jem is the one with the ideas, the energy, and the flavor instincts. Ryan is the one making sure they actually make it home. No highlight reel — just two people from opposite sides of the world figuring it out together.
